The new range of Gourmet products for Hotel and Catering from Ferrer, candidate for the 2014 Innoval prizes.

Frigorífics Ferrer will once again take part in the next edition of the Feria Alimentaria in Barcelona (International Food and Drink Fair). In this edition we will also be presenting exclusively a range of Gourmet products for Hotel and Catering, which will be a candidate for the 2014 Innoval Prizes.

Innovalis, trade fair after trade fair, under the spotlight and a must visit in the Feria Alimentaria in order to be up to date with all the latest products and tendencies in the sector. At this edition it will exhibit more than 230 new launches in 9 categories and the prize-giving ceremony will be on the 1st of April. Ferrer is once again committed to leading the sector, launching the Gama Skin Pack Gourmet with three launch references: Baby squid from the Mediterranean, “Espardenyes” from the Coast, and Prawn Tails from Argentina. These articles are characterised by their seasonal nature and also for having a major oscillation in price in times of demand. As a result, the company adapts to the needs of the demanding client and will offer this product throughout the year at stable and accessible prices which, moreover, has been frozen at the optimum time with I.Q.F. (Individually Quick Freeze) technology, piece by piece, and packed in a practical Skin Pack of 200 grs., with the aim of providing dosage, hygiene and the best preservation possible of the product.

The range will be on sale after the Feria Alimentaria and is already of interest to several professionals from the high-range Restaurant sector.
